Change Your Password
All UWSP passwords must be changed every 2 years.  Passwords set to the default must be changed within 14 days.  You can change your password as often as you would like. To change your password answer the question below by clicking either YES or NO. 

Password Rules:

  1. Your password must NOT contain any part of your logon name
  2. Your password must NOT contain your first or last name
  3. Your password must be at least 12 characters long
  4. Your password must contain characters from three of the following four "classes":
    • UPPERCASE letters (A-Z)
    • Lowercase letters (a-z)
    • Numbers (0-9)
    • Non-alphanumeric special characters (!, @, #, $, %, ^, &, etc.).
  5. You cannot use the same password as you used before (the system remembers your last 12).
  6. Capitalization matters.  Remember if you use upper or lower case.  (mypoint.uwsp.edu, OWA and other web services are CASE SENSITIVE.)

If you choose not to change your UWSP password your account will be disabled and you will no longer be able to access UWSP network resources including, grades, email, financial information etc...
